On Monday we had a delicious arrangement of food at Gravity Body Academy. We had a spinach salad with carrots, onion, cranberries, steamed beets and blackberries, delicious! We also had veggie sandwiches that people had seconds ++ approved by students and kids! Plus mashed potatoes and gravy from The Vegan 8's new cookbook that are just absolutely amazing, everyone who tries them loves them. We also had some turmeric sauerkraut and fresh fruit in the morning. It was a great day, the students did wonderfully, gave and received big changes, the energy and vibes were very zen. Hi friends and family! I'm happy to bring you a new recipe and request for a more traditional baked cheesecake. A couple people were asking if you could take my cream cheese recipe and make a cheesecake and the answer is YES!
I had a big bowl of fresh tomatoes that needed to be used, my husband suggested tomato soup or salsa, two house favorites. I went for a creamy tomato soup and decided to add in other ingredients I had around like cauliflower, potatoes and cashews for a triple threat to the creaminess. Oh yes. A lusciously creamy soup with health benefits to boot. It was so good it didn't last the night between three people. Come and get some.
A based of berries is covered with an oatmeal batter filled with bananas and dates to sweeten. It is then topped with more berries and optional coconut flakes and baked until oozing hot berries are bursting forth. Cool to set, slice and serve.
This week is a request from my sweet husband a Dairy-Free Cheesy Omelette and my oh my are you in for a treat. A lovely omelette envelops spinach, mushrooms and vegan cheese with sliced avocado and optional vegan sour cream on top. It's tested by a non-vegan Michael Clark, my husbands son who is visiting and he leaves his testimonial...will he like it? See on FB! Come and get some!
