You are invited to join me in a Breathing Meditation Practice. This is something that Gerald and I take part in during the morning and evening as part of the Kriya yoga practice. It’s also done in many other forms of yoga and spiritual practices.
I am really excited to announce you can all have early exclusive access to One Green Planet's Food Monster iPhone app. I downloaded it last night to give it a try and absolutely love it! It is extremely user friendly and intuitive. I love the link feature, when you are on a recipe you can click the link button and related recipes appear. For instance, I was looking at a chocolate cheesecake and upon clicking the link button raw desserts, vegan, cheesecake and more options appeared. Neat! It has a lot of browsing possibilities, from latest recipes, by ingredient, features, seasonal, collections, themes like dairy-free cheese, sandwiches, chocolate and more. I personally love the collections. Look at some of these: I thought I'd give it the ultimate test and make a new recipe from it. After browsing mouthwatering recipes...I decided the featured Blueberry Cheesecake was a must do! The crust blew me away, it is made with sunflower seeds, who knew? It was cookie dough like, stuck together brilliantly and tasted wonderful. It was topped with healthy blueberry cashew cheesecake. All using few ingredients that are really good for you! How were they? Amazingly soft, some of the creamiest cashew cheesecake I ever did taste. My husband and I both really loved it. Thank you OGP and Lucie Javorska for the great recipe! I made cupcake size because my freezer is full of sorbet. Here is how they turned out! I was able to download the app, browse thousands of recipes that are truly extraordinary, make and eat amazing cheesecake within 24 hours or less! You can join me or make whatever your heart pleases as One Green Planet is offering Artistic Vegan followers exclusive early access before their release date of 4/22 on Earth Day! With lots of love and light, Christa I have been busy working behind the scenes to move websites for a more user-friendly and blogger-friendly experience! I still have some open items I'm working on so hang in there with me while I work out the glitches and make the final touches. I have a backlog of beautiful recipes that I can't wait to share with you and more to be created and shared soon. I look forward to a wonderful 2016 and am excited to share with you all along the way. I wouldn't and couldn't do it without you and your support, views and love! Thank you! What is on the horizon this year? A new conference in May 2016 at Teotihuacan with my husband, best-selling author and researcher Gerald Clark! Learn all about it at: https://www.geraldclark77.com/anunnaki-dominions-of-mexico.html
We recently traveled to the Yucatan, Mexico to visit the historic site of Chichen Itza in the Mayan jungle! It was a life-changing event for many including me! My husband held The Anunnaki Realm of the Maya Ascension Symposium at the Hacienda Chichen Resort where people from around the globe came to his conference. We met the most wonderful people and had a fantastic time! The grounds of the Hacienda were magical and so lush! We shot a short video highlighting some of the grounds: and another of the sights and sounds! My husband will be releasing more videos of the conference, I highly recommend his latest Nibiru discussion: We were able to walk the original path the Mayans traversed to get to Chichen Itza entering through the Haciendas back-gate entrance. You emerge from the jungle and find yourself speechless as you see the huge ancient structures. I will probably be sharing more, in the mean time I wanted to give tips & tricks for saving money while traveling! I was able to make the majority of our meals in our room, without a kitchen! First, I researched online ways that people save money while traveling. From packing snacks to getting a room with a kitchen, my families favorite, to bringing your own hot plate. I thought that was so smart, we did just that. We went out, got a hot plate / electric grill, single burner for travel sake and it made a world of a difference! We were able to have homemade soup, potatoes, beans and more all because of an inexpensive burner. I packed the following to make life easy:
When we arrived we enjoyed an organic meal on site. The next day we got a taxi and went to a local town and picked up fresh fruit, vegetables and beans at the fruteria and tortillas and fresh tostadas from the tortilleria! I was stoked to see we had a mini fridge, soon our fresh fruit and veggies were covering up the mini bar beer. We spent about $20 or less and went to the market twice providing enough breakfast, lunch and dinner for 10 days less 3 meals, not bad if you ask me! Plus we were able to experience local ripe mangoes again this season among other great local fruits and veggies. The second trip we went on we tried a different market and found the hugest avocados, I had to confirm they were avocados (augacates) because I couldn't believe their size!! We also found beautiful pitayas, and more mangoes!! We enjoyed guacamole shortly there after with fresh tostadas! We also found a potato shaped like a heart! :) I love finding heart shaped items in nature! We enjoyed a number of yummy dishes, here a few below. Fresh salsa is easy to make as you can enjoy it raw and fresh almost instantly! This batch was made with tomatoes, onions, spicy peppers, garlic, lime, salt, pepper and usually cilantro, I missed that this time around. We love salsa and added habeneros for an extra kick! Breakfast was for coffee and fresh fruit. We enjoyed sweet cantaloupe, a variety of ripe bananas, mangoes, mandarin oranges, kiwi and pitaya. On this day we had the sweetest fresh mangoes with kiwi, delightful! Cantaloupe bowls are easy satisfying! The last day we had a stellar start to our day pre-5 am! Pitaya, mango, mandarins and semi-frozen bananas! This meal was full of beans, Mexican squash, mango, tomatoes, onions, garlic, Serrano peppers, lime juice and love! We enjoyed soup on more than one occasion! Recipe to follow. We also made our own stevia in the coffee machine in our room so we could have sweetener without affecting our blood sugar levels. See? You can eat well, even loose a few lbs. on travel and still enjoy yourself! Other ideas are to have rice, quinoa, oatmeal and pancakes, hummus and veggies or pita bread, sandwiches, burritos, tacos and salads. Raw food is a very easy option. If I were to do it again I would manage to bring a small cutting board and my Ninja so I could make smoothies, fast salsa, guacamole, dairy-free milk, hummus and more. Next time for sure! The food presentation was supreme while dining out! This was our new friend Michael's plate (above) I thought the creativity was stellar, pretty use of the pineapple! We had stuffed peppers and requested no animal products. It was a fabulous meal in very low lighting, sorry they didn't turn out nicer. During the conference our group enjoyed a beautiful array of treats from the Hacienda Chichen! Overall we had a wonderful arrangement of delicious food! Eating vegan on the go and while on travel is do-able and fun!

Yesterday we visited the local market to pick up fresh fruits and vegetables for the upcoming week. We found a local store that advertised selling fruits and vegetables, I was so happy with the abundance and selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, with out dry goods. I was comparing how I used to grocery shop vs. how we shop today. Now we buy fresh produce and hardly any processed goods. In the past I used to get tons of packaged goods. With more and more additives and concerns about labels, I feel better getting fresh food. Organic is preferred and homegrown heirloom organic produce is the best! For now, until we plant our next garden, we have been enjoying the market. I am in love with the variety of bananas! I'm in banana heaven! All of the produce is wonderfully delicious and priced well. I wanted to share how I've changed my shopping patterns and now enjoy a bounty of fresh foods, a different haul each time, with the usual favorites. We live off plants and overall, feel great! I made a vegetable mandala to show the beauty of whole vegan foods that are bright, colorful and inviting! I am finishing up The Artistic Vegan Cookbook, due out at the end of this week! There are over 150 unreleased recipes that are some of my finest work to date, all vegan and gluten-free. I have been a bit negligent about posting new blogs, I look forward to coming back full speed with new recipes this August and sharing some savory pictures of what you can expect to find in my new cookbook. I hope you have all been doing fantastic, healthy and are having a wonderful summer! With love,
