Grilled Beets - Whole Roasted Beets
Ingredients
- 2 Whole Beets (as many or few as desired)
- Olive Oil
Instructions
- Take the whole beet. Wash the outside well. Pat dry or shake off.
- Cover in olive oil or preferred oil.
- Season further if desired.
- Double wrap in aluminum foil. Wrap it once, then wrap it again.
- Put the beet directly into the hot coals. Or roast above, though this will take longer.
- Turn occasionally.
- Cook for 30-45 minutes or more as needed depending on the size of the beet until cooked throughout.
- Leave the skin on or peel, I personally love the skin.
- Enjoy as desired.
