Today I have a special treat. A Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Shake that is beaming with plant-based protein. I am a very active woman and love to shake it, move it, stretch it, walk and move a lot so I need to ensure I have plenty of energy to keep going. Protein shakes are a quick, easy and effective way to get the nutrition needed without taking too much time. This recipe has few ingredients so you can make it easily at home and have it taste like a treat while doing so. Win, win!
Sometimes you want something hearty and savory in the morning. This breakfast fits the bill. My favorite scrambled egg recipe, vegan mozzarella cheese, potatoes and a muffin. Yes, please! Rice Pudding is becoming a new favorite around our house. It's delicious and a fun alternative to oatmeal or a delicious dessert. This is a simple classic rice pudding recipe with plant-based touches that nobody will know about. It's creamy, tasty and filling. Adapt it with different flavors and toppings. Enjoy!!
Moist blueberry muffins are complimented with the sweetness of ripe bananas, fall spices, vanilla and our gem ingredient - lemon zest. The lemon brings the muffins to life! I grabbed it on a last minute whim and boy am I so glad I did. It's amazing. Next level!! We'll be using coconut sugar to keep the glycemic index low and much less than a standard muffin. I just love tofu scramble! There are so many different ways to make it and this is one of many. You can whip this up in no time, add a variety of vegetables, herbs and spices, serve it with fresh veggies and a tortilla for a taco. It's so dang good. Enjoy!
