Grilled Plantains are a new favorite of mine! Soft, sweet and delicious. Grilling them couldn't be easier. Simply put it over the grill at medium-high heat and flip halfway, no exact science, the skin will begin to bust and soon the inside will be cooked. When you open the peel a golden banana with caramelized edges await you to dig into it.

Ripe Plantains - Blackened Skin
Choose how many you want.
Prepare the grill to medium-high heat.
Take your ripe plantain, leave it in the banana peel and place it on the grilling rack. That's it!
Let it cook until cooked throughout, flipping halfway. It may take about 10 to 15 minutes each side or a little longer if it is a big plantain.
With grilling relax and enjoy while the fire does the work, then enjoy! No rush.
