Cauliflower Cream Sauce | Salsa Crema de Coliflor

A thick luscious creamy white sauce can be yours without the guilt. This recipe is made from wholesome ingredients that are good for your body and Mother Earth. Healthy, satisfying and lip-smacking good. I love how few ingredients are needed, how quickly it comes together and how much everyone loves it.

Cauliflower Cream Sauce with Pasta

Yield: 6

Ingredients:

  • 4 Cups Chopped Cauliflower Florets
  • 3 Cups Dairy Free Milk of choice (unflavored)
  • 2 Large Garlic Cloves - Minced
  • 2 Tbsp Minced Onion
  • 1 to 1 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp White Pepper
  • 1/2 Cup Cashews
  • 1/4 Cup Freshly Chopped Parsley
  • 2 Packets Noodles - Favorite (340 g) 

Instructions:

How to cook Cauliflower Cream Sauce with Pasta

Peaceful Preparation
  1. Bring a big pot of water to a boil. Generously salt the water. 
  2. Add the pasta and cook as per the package.
  3. Add the balance of the ingredients less the parsley to a big pot or instant pot. The cauliflower, dairy free milk, garlic, onion, salt, white pepper and cashews. If on the stove bring to a boil, reduce to simmer and cook for 20 minutes or until the cauliflower is soft. If in an instant pot, place it on soup setting for 3 minutes. 
  4. Blend the cauliflower mixture until smooth, burping the side if hot or use an immersion blender. Get it smooth and creamy. 
  5. Serve the sauce with the pasta and parsley. You can add the sauce to the pasta or dish the pasta and put sauce on top, whichever you prefer. Serve and enjoy your meal! 

Notes:

For 3 Serving of Pasta: Use one package of pasta with half of the sauce. Reserve the sauce for other dishes, more pasta or as a delicious creamy soup.

Salsa Crema de Coliflor con Pasta

Ingredients:

  • 4 tazas de floretes de coliflor picados
  • 3 tazas de leche sin lácteos (sin sabor)
  • 2 clavos de ajo grandes - picado 
  • 2 cucharadas de cebolla picada
  • 1 a 1 1/2 cucharadita de sal
  • 1/2 cucharadita de pimienta blanca
  • 1/2 taza de nuez de la India
  • 1/4 taza de perejil picado
  • 2 paquetes de fideos - Favorito (340 g)

Instructions:

How to cook Salsa Crema de Coliflor con Pasta

Preparación pacífica
  1. Hierva una olla grande de agua. Sal generosamente el agua.
  2. Agregue la pasta y cocine según el paquete.
  3. Agregue el equilibrio de los ingredientes menos el perejil a una olla grande o olla instantánea. La coliflor, la leche sin lácteos, el ajo, la cebolla, la sal, la pimienta blanca y los nueces.
  4. Si está en la estufa, reduzca a fuego lento y cocine durante 20 minutos o hasta que la coliflor esté blanda. Si está en una olla instantánea, colóquela en el ajuste de la sopa durante 3 minutos.
  5. Licúe la mezcla de coliflor hasta que quede suave, eructando el costado si está caliente o utilice una licuadora de inmersión. Consíguelo suave y cremoso.
  6. Sirva la salsa con la pasta y el perejil. Puedes añadir la salsa a la pasta o plato la pasta y poner la salsa en la parte superior, lo que prefieras. Sirve.  ¡Buen provecho!

Notes:

Para 3 porciones de pasta: Use un paquete de pasta con la mitad de la salsa. Reserva la salsa para otros platos, más pasta o como una deliciosa sopa cremosa.
