1 Cup Oats (Gluten-Free Variety for GF)
1 tsp Cinnamon
1/2 tsp Ginger Powder
1/2 Cup Raisins
1 Cup Chai Tea (Strong!)
1 Cup Coconut Milk (or dairy-free milk of choice)
Dash: Nutmeg, All Spice, Cardamom
Sweeten to taste as desired (I used Stevia)
Drizzle of Coconut Milk
Crystallized Ginger Pieces
Combine ingredients in a saucepan. Cook until desired consistency, I cooked ours about 15 minutes with the last 5 minutes covered. Stir frequently to prevent sticking. Once it is at your preferred consistency, transfer to two bowls, top as desired; I chose coconut milk, crystallized ginger and raisins. Mmm mmm! Enjoy!
A drizzle of maple syrup would be divine! You can also place it in your rice cooker, press cook and let it do the work.
