Date Worthy Dessert Bites - 3 Ingredients

Impress your sweetie with a Date Worthy Dessert Bite! Pop one of these in his or her mouth and let them be overtaken with pleasure inducing hormones. 
Chocolate is said to create a boost of intense endorphins far greater and longer than that of kissing. Ensure it is Dark Chocolate 60% or greater, I used 80%...mmm! Chocolate Love Potion #9. As I sit here in my blissful, loving, endorphin raised state, I am overtaken by the powerful buzz. Big, fresh medjool dates are sliced in half, the pit is removed and replaced with natural peanut butter and a piece of dark chocolate. I then pop it in my hot oven for 3-5 minutes until the smell of chocolate overwhelms my senses. I present them to my husband enthusiastically and we relish the savory kiss of chocolate. If your oven is already hot after baking something, remember this treat and prepare it in 5 minutes flat and fly away to a blissful state. Enjoy - Christa ​

Ingredients:
  • 4 Fresh Soft Medjool Dates - Pitted
  • 1 Tbsp of Peanut Butter
  • 2 Squares of 60% Dark Chocolate or greater

Directions:
  1. Place in a hot oven until the chocolate melts - about 3-5 minutes.
  2. Cool so you don't burn your mouth, and then consume instantly!

​The date creates almost a caramel flavor, with hot peanut butter and melted chocolate for a pie-like experience. Yum! Easiest dessert ever. Also good cold but better hot.
