A Look Back....
A lot went down in 2018. Premium was launched with ArtisticVegan.vhx.tv, 2 Seasons of Meal Plans were created for 12 weeks of plant-based eating. My husband and I worked together to open Gravity Body Academy (gravitybodyacademy.com) a new online school to learn the art of Structural Integration. After opening the school, I was feeling studious, and went to school to become a yoga instructor and completed my 200 HR YTT. New yoga classes, tons of recipes and recipe videos, podcasts, magazine features, Top Blogger Lists, my first live event with Leak Project and much more!
What were some lessons learned?
To keep trying… even when you can’t see the immediate fruit of what you do…keep going.. don’t give up. The song “Planting Seeds” by Empty Hands Music is a beautiful way to look at things.
Seeing myself in the communities eyes helped me soften up on myself. Try to see yourself from someone else's eyes.... maybe you'll see the sparkle in your eye.... :)
A reminder that we’re all connected… we’re all one….
Not to worry so much…. Not to stress so much…. To trust and have faith in the Universe more… The higher powers that be will see you or me through…. like they did last time. Give thanks that it is so.
Another was not to procrastinate so much… what I do for my future self is a gift…. And by setting myself up for success and to show up on time or early alleviates stress… removes uncertainties.
Committing to showing up! Saying no is also okay!
And not to be a helicopter… hovering…. In relationships…. On social media…. Etc… live my life… find my happiness… don’t worry what others do.
Taking ME time is still as essential as it was the last 10+ years and is so essential. Be it 30 minutes for yoga or your morning meditation, a bath, a walk, journaling, something that brings me peace and happiness. LOVING ME, all of me, is so vital. Healthy habits pay off and are worth it!
Of course this is only what comes to mind at this point and time. It was a big year with a lot of activity and a lot of lessons learned along the way. Of course, like anything, I'm doing my best with these things and I'm ever learning, growing and changing just like you!
In short, never give up, keep dreaming, plan and then go for it! Why wait! Who knows what the future holds. I can only hope it is just as good or better. I’m so grateful and thank you all for walking with me on this path. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to yours with love and gratitude.
