½ Cup Lentils
1 ¼ Cup Filtered Water
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Paprika
1 tsp Oregano
½ tsp Black Pepper
1 heaping tsp Minced Garlic
1/3 Cup Chopped Onion
1 Heaping Cup Chopped Tomatoes
Place everything together in a rice cooker or pot. Mix together and press cook. Relax as it cooks. Serve hot! We served ours on top of ½-3/4 cup of basmati rice each topped with a little tamari sauce. As well as a garden salad with added tomatoes, onions, almond slices, sunflower seeds, cherry tomatoes, with summer fruit on the side.
