Shakti's Split Pea Soup (Vegan & GF)
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 Cup Chopped Onion
- 3/4 Cup Chopped Celery
- 3/4 Cup Sliced Carrot
- 2 Cups Sliced Potatoes (regular and/or sweet)
- 2 Tbsp Minced Garlic
- 1 Cup Split Peas (dry)
- 10 Cups of Water or Vegetable Broth
- 1 Tbsp Parsley
- 1 Tbsp Fresh Rosemary & Thyme - Minced
- 1 tsp Sea Salt
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
- 1 Cup Chopped Spinach (opt)
- 2 drops Liquid Smoke (opt)
Instructions:
How to cook Shakti's Split Pea Soup (Vegan & GF)
- Instant Pot: Combine everything in the instant pot except for the spinach if using. Place it on the manual setting for 12 minutes. Slowly release the steam. Remove the lid, add the spinach, stir, adjust the flavor and enjoy!
- Stove Top: Combine everything in a big pot except the spinach. Cook it over medium, once boiling lower the heat to low. Cook with a lid on until the split peas are soft. Turn off the heat once done, add the spinach, stir, adjust the flavor and enjoy!

Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 Taza Cebolla Picada
- 3/4 Taza Apio Picado
- ¾ Taza Zanahoria Cortada
- 2 Tazas Papas (blanco y/o batada)
- 2 Cucharadas de Ajo, picado
- 1 Taza Guisantes partidos (Seco)
- 10 Tazas de Agua o Caldo de Vegetal
- 1 Cucharada Perejil
- 1 Cucharada de Romero y Tomillo mezcla, picado
- 1 Cucharadita Sal de Mar
- 1/2 Cucharadita Pimienta Negra
- 1 Taza de Espinaca Picado â opcional
- 2 drops Liquid Smoke (opt)

- Estufa Top: Combina todo en una olla grande excepto la espinaca. CocÃnalo a fuego medio, Una vez hirviendo, baja el fuego a bajo. Cocine con la tapa puesta hasta que los guisantes partidos estén suaves. ¡Apaga el calor una vez hecho, añade las espinacas, remueve, ajusta el sabor y disfruta!
