2 3/4 Cups Freshly Chopped Tomatoes
1/2 Medium Onion Roughly Chopped
2 Cloves Garlic - Peeled or 1/4 tsp Dry Powder
1/4 tsp Cayenne
1/2 tsp Paprika
1/8 tsp Cinnamon
1/2 tsp Salt
1/8 tsp Allspice
1 Tbsp Agave
1/4 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar
Season with Red Pepper Flakes to taste
Opt: 1/2 tsp Guar or Xanthum gum to thicken
Directions:
- Combine the tomatoes, onion and garlic cloves in a blender. Blend until smooth.
- Transfer to a small to medium sized pot. Add the balance of the ingredients.
- Simmer on low heat, whisking occasionally, for 45 minutes to one hour, or until desired consistency. Cool, store in a sealed container in the fridge.
