Tofu Ricotta | Ricotta de Tofú

I wanted Ricotta for my lasagna and thought Tofu would be great! Apparently it's already a "thing" but better late than never. Who knew it could be made with such little effort and so quickly. This recipe comes together in a snap and tastes awesome in lasagna or as you'd like to use ricotta. Enjoy my sweet friends!

​Tofu Ricotta 
  • 2 Blocks Silken Firm Non-GMO Tofu
  • 2 - 4 Tbsp. Lemon Juice or Apple Cider Vinegar (start with 2 and go up to 4)
  • 1/4 Cup Nutritional Yeast
  • 1 tsp Sea Salt, to taste
  • ½ tsp Onion Powder
  • ½ tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 -2 Tbsp Soy Sauce (Start with 1 tbsp and add another if you'd like)
Peaceful Preparation:
Crumble the tofu in a bowl, add the ingredients, mix with your hands. Taste, adjust as needed. Maybe 1 more tbsp soy sauce, more lemon juice or a little dijon, adjust as desired and set aside.

Ricotta de Tofú:
  • 2 bloques de tofu firme de seda  no OGM
  • 2 - 4 cucharadas de jugo de limón o vinagre de manzana (Comience con 2 cucharadas, hasta 4)
  • 4 cucharadas de levadura nutricional
  • 1 cucharada de sal de mar, al gusto
  • 1/2 cucharadita de cebolla en polvo
  • ½ cucharadita de ajo en polvo
  • 1 - 2 cucharada de salsa de soya (Comience con 1 cucharadas, hasta 2)
Preparación Pacífica:
Desmenuzar el tofu en un tazón, añadir los ingredientes, mezclar con las manos. Sabor, ajuste según sea necesario. Tal vez 1 cucharada más de salsa de soja, jugo de limón o un poco de dijon, ajuste como desee.
