Tofu Scramble | Tofu Revueltos (V + GF)

I just love tofu scramble! There are so many different ways to make it and this is one of many. You can whip this up in no time, add a variety of vegetables, herbs and spices, serve it with fresh veggies and a tortilla for a taco. It's so dang good. Enjoy!

Tofu Scramble:
  • ½ Onion – Chopped
  • 1 Poblano Pepper – Chopped
  • 3 Cloves Garlic – Minced
  • 1 Block Firm Tofu
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • ½ tsp Garlic Powder (opt)
  • ½ tsp Turmeric
  • ½ tsp Cumin
  • ¼ tsp Oregano
  • 1/2 Tbsp Dijon Mustard
  • 1 Tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 2 Tbsp Nutritional Yeast
  • Cayenne to taste
  • Oil or water for cooking
Peaceful Preparation:
  1. Heat some oil in a nonstick frying pan or use soy sauce for oil-free. Once hot, add the tofu. Cook over medium heat for 5 minutes, flip, cook 5 more minutes.
  2. Heat some oil or water in another pan. Once hot, add the onion and poblano pepper. Cook for 7 minutes over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook for 60 seconds. Turn off the heat.
  3. Scramble the tofu, add all the spices, mustard, soy sauce, onion, pepper, garlic – everything. Mix. Cook for 10 more minutes on low heat. Serve hot!

 Tofu Revueltos
  • ½ Cebolla – Picada
  • 1 Pimiento Poblano – Picada
  • 3 dientes de ajo – picados
  • 1 bloque de tofu (firme)
  • 1 cucharadita páprika
  • Sal y pimienta a gusto
  • ½ cucharadita ajo en polvo (opcional)
  • ½ cucharadita cúrcuma
  • ½ cucharadita comino
  • ¼ cucharadita orégano
  • 1/2 Cucharada Mustaza de Dijon
  • 1 Cucharada Salsa de Soya
  • 2 Cucharada Levadura Nutricional (opcional)
  • Cayenne al gusto
  • Aciete o agua para preparación
Preparación Pacífica:
  1. Calentar el aceite en una sartén antiadherente. Una vez caliente, agregar el tofu. Cocine a fuego medio durante 5 minutos, voltear, cocine 5 mas minutos.
  2. Calentar el aceite o agua en un otro sartén, una vez caliente, agregar la cebolla y pimiento poblano. Cocine a fuego medio durante 7 minutos. Agregar ajo picados, cocine para 60 segundos. Apaga el calor.
  3. Revueltos los tofu. Agregar todo especias, mustaza, salsa de soya y cebolla, pimiento pablano y ajo – todo. Mezcle. Cocine durante 10 minutos más a fuego lento. ¡Disfrute caliente!
