3 Cups Pre-Cooked Peurano Beans or Garbanzo
2 Tbsp Freshly Minced Herbs (Cilantro & Parsley)
1 1/2 Cups Vital Wheat Gluten
4 Cloves Garlic - MInced
1 Onion - Chopped
1/4 Cup Soy Sauce (reduced sodium)
1/4 Cup BBQ Sauce
1 Tbsp + 1 tsp Dijon Mustard
1/2 tsp Salt & Pepper
2 tsp Paprika
2 Tbsp Potato Starch
2 Cups Pecans
2 Tbsp Oil (Avocado, Olive..)
1 Tbsp + 1 tsp Coconut Sugar
Opt: 1 tsp Liquid Smoke
Peaceful Preparation:
- Add a little avocado oil or vegetable broth to a pan. Over medium-low sauté the onions until golden and fragrant. Add the garlic cook another minute. Remove from the heat and set aside.
- Add the pecans to a food processor, pulse into a fine crumb or chop finely.
- Add the beans to a large bowl and mash leaving some chunks. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix together. Knead for 5 minutes. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
- Shape into patties. Pan-fry, bake or grill. Add BBQ sauce or vegan cheese!
- For pan-frying heat avocado oil or your favorite over medium heat. Once hot, add the veggie burgers. Add a lid on top. Lower the heat to low and cook for about 10-15 minutes. Flip. Cook another 10 or as desired. Serve as you desire, we had a bun with the fixings! Yum!
Notes: I'm nearly positive this recipe would work with a gluten-free flour, it wouldn't be as "meaty" but still very good. I've not tested this but could if you'd like. :)
3 Tazas Frijol de Mayacoba/Peruano Cocido
2 Tbsp Heirbas Frescas Picado (Cilantro & Perijil)
1 1/2 Cups Gluten de Trigo Vital
4 Dientes Ajo - Picar
1 Cebolla - Picado
1/4 Taza Salsa de Soya (Reducio en Sodio)
1/4 Taza Salsa de Barbacoa
1 Cucharada + 1 Cucharadita Mustaza de Dijon
1/2 Cucharadita Sal & Pimienta Negra
2 Cucharadita Paprika
2 Cucharada Fecula de Papa
2 Tazas Nuez Mitad - Picado
2 Cucharada Aceite (Aguacate or Oliva.....)
1 Cucharada + 1 Cucharadita Azúcar de Coco
Opcional: 1 Cucharadita Humo Liquido
Preparación:
- Saltear de Cebolla 5-10 Minutes en aceite augacate or agua. Fuego medio-bajo. , luego. Agregue el ajo a otro minuto. Poner a un lado.
- Agregue los frijoles a un tazón grande y puré. Agregar el resto de los ingredientes mixta. Amasar durante 3 a 5 minutos. Tapar, refrigerar durante la noche.
- Forma en hamburguesas. Cocinar 10-15 minutos el fuego medio-bajo con un tapa con fuego medio-bajo. Voltear. Cocinar 10 minutos mas sin tapa. Disfruta!
