The scent of this tea fills your home with a heavenly spiced aroma with cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and more wafting in the air. Take a big deep breath over the hot steam and soak it all in. This tea is made from all natural herbs and spices, Gerald often jokes that it looks like a witches brew so it is fitting for this season. No? No toil, just toss some herbs and spices in a pot once the water is boiling and allow it to simmer for 30 minutes creating an intoxicating smell and most of all, flavor. We love to have ours with some dairy free milk and when we splurge a little drizzle of syrup for a sweet cup of tea. This is our favorite chai tea that we've been drinking nearly every single night for months now. Come and get your cup, I promise you won't regret it.
Homemade Apple Pie for the ultimate American dessert. Sweet warm apple pie against cool vegan vanilla ice cream, does it get any better? I don't know. It is truly indulgent and a big naughty, but still a touch healthier than standard and vegan & gluten-free.
Power up your body with these 3 new smoothies. The glorious berries give the pink color and antioxidants. Add some protein powder and chia seeds and you have the omega's and protein your body needs. I love having a smoothie in the morning, especially after yoga or movement. Rehydrating and replenishing.
Porridge, while not the most exciting name in the world, it is misleading for within the bowl is a warm hearty breakfast and a palette for a variety of flavor sensations.

I had the honor of cozying up to The One Peaceful World Cookbook by Alex Jack and Sachi Kato (BenBella Books, 2017) and absolutely fell in love. It felt like one of those pivotal moments where a light clicks and you remember the bigger picture. Beyond a cookbook, this book is a guidebook for life. Reminding us to go back to our roots and most importantly to add our heart and soul back into what we do.
Strawberry and vanilla dance on your tongue as you bite into these prookies. Protein Cookies, so you can enjoy one with your coffee after yoga. Well, I did. These are Strawberry Thumbprint Cookies infused with vanilla protein powder, strawberry chia jam within the batter and a generous portion smack dab in the center. They have added cranberries for an extra chewy consistency when you bite in.
Learn how to make vegan & gluten-free Pumpkin Scones with a generous creamy white frosting glaze, and a spiced pumpkin glaze drizzled on top of that. The Pumpkin Scone from Starbucks was my design inspiration and these are beyond tasty, irresistibly good. I'll show you two varieties, one with an all-purpose gluten-free flour base and another with an oat-flour base. Special thank you to Liv Avatar for requesting these. Watch how to make them & stay 'til the end to see our special guests. :)
