Fully Raw Lasagna

Today we enjoyed Fully Raw Lasagna! It was a very fun way to enjoy a LOT of raw vegetables and herbs, combined together layer by layer with love to create a big slice of flavorful raw lasagna! The recipe comes from FullyRaw Kristina! It was sent to me by a sweet friend and boy am I glad she shared. Here is the video with full instruction on how to make it. I subbed a few ingredients based on what I had in the kitchen. Making it work as Lindsay with Happy Herbivore would say! Mine looked something like this: More Zucchini Layers, a green layer, and raw marinara layer! More zucchinis, a green layer and then a cucumber nut layer...yum! More zucchini, a green layer, a red marinara layer topped with red bell peppers. Another zucchini layer topped with the cucumber nut blend and topped with cucumber, red bell peppers and red onion. The end product: Very nourishing, healthy, satisfying, fun, filling and tasty! We couldn't wait to slice into that beauty and dig in! I hope you enjoy this healthy fun way to eat raw vegetables! I was curious what it would take like cooked... I know I know it's supposed to be raw! With curiosity I heated the balance for dinner at 350 for an hour and it was insanely delicious. Oil-free, vegan and loaded with vegetables! We ate about 5-6+ cups of dark leafy greens, cups of herbs, onion, garlic, tomatoes, nuts, zucchinis, cucumbers and red bell peppers between lunch and dinner....wow...! I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as I do! Thank you FullyRaw Kristina for your fantastic recipe and all you do for humanity!!!
To healthy transformational food! Christa
In San Diego there is a little cafe in a strip mall that is our favorite vegan restaurant with the most tantalizing dishes. Whether it be date night, a birthday or meeting a friend we really enjoy the atmosphere and of the course the food. His sons even liked the vegan fusion meals! Tonight's dinner was inspired by Sipz Vegetarian Fuzion Cafe!
Onions, Garlic, Carrots, Bell Peppers and a Serrano Pepper are wok fried in a Spicy House Sauce served with Marinated Baked Tofu, Steamed Broccoli and Brown Rice.
Gerald came up with he clever name of Tofu Ginger Broccoli Rice For a Vegan It's Everything Nice! I couldn't agree more, this meal is everything nice for a vegan filled with wholesome grains, fresh vegetables and 13 grams of protein.
The smells are enough to drive you wild while the meal is cooking. I did my best to mimic the one of a kind BIG bowls from Sipz filled with goodness. Their sauces are to die for so I did my best to do them justice!
To make this sensation meal you will need the following:

If you have been watching the news lately, it can be a bit unnerving with all of the events going on worldwide. From Ebola, Iraq, Syria, to the big events unfolding with Ukraine, NATO and Russia. To earth events such as flooding, fires and more, to GMO's, chemtrails, fluoride, vaccines, nanites, oil spills and contaminated air we face a lot of threats today as a species. Not only physically but mentally too. It can be a lot to bear hearing the "woes" cry out from the earth. I feel down some-days, other days I'm guilty of sticking my head in the sand in effort to feel better, other days I'm on fire about learning. I take it in waves and try to maintain some sort of balance in these times and include as many peaceful and happy moments as possible.
Time with my husband, walks, yoga, meditation, zen music, eating healthy -
getting out in nature, reading, writing, painting, taking baths, giving and receiving structural integration, taking elixirs and supplements are a few of my favorite things. Daily quotes from sites like Bob Proctor and Tut - Notes From The Universe are always nice for a daily shot of love and inspiration. Actions like showing love, helping others, continuing to move forward and reaching for my dreams until the last second tend to keep me uplifted.
After catching up the news with my husband, I turned on Zen Meditation Music and zoned in on making a delicious meal for us.
I wanted vibrant chakra infused colors for the ultimate cleansing meal. With beans, rice, asparagus and a variety of fresh vegetables this plate is a complete and nutritious meal for two packed with 30 grams of protein!
Eating healthy is easy when it looks this good!
I left the salt out and opted for more lime and pepper after reading about fluoride in salt!
I shared this on Facebook earlier: Fluoride. I knew it was in the toothpaste and water but fluoride is in the salt too? That means packaged goods, table salt, bread and so on can be poisoned. "Intentionally fluoridated salt usually contains about 250 ppm fluoride, which results in a daily intake of 2.5 mg of fluoride per day for people consuming 10 grams of salt." This will make me think twice about sprinkling some of extra salt on top and eating out. Sources are even saying "“Himalayan” salt is actually from one of the world’s largest salt mines in Pakistan and contains 231mg (231ppm) fluoride – naturally!" Source: http://fluoridedetective.com/fluoridated-salt/ Another source states: "“Universal” salt fluoridation means that all salt destined for human consumption is fluoridated - not just the “salt in the shaker on the table”. This situation exists in numerous cantons in Switzerland, as well as many countries in South America." Read more here: http://poisonfluoride.com/pfpc/html/salt_facts.html That same site lists food that contains fluoride, this is a bit unnerving as I enjoy many of these foods as I'm sure you do too! http://poisonfluoride.com/pfpc/html/f-_in_food.html I want to continue researching this but thought I'd share what I had found so far. "The More You Know" - They do sell a Fluoride Tester! We recently purchased a Berkey Filter as well. Anything can help! While it was a salt free meal the flavors were so good I didn't miss it at all!

After learning about flouride and other toxins I found a great article on 14 Ways to Cleanse the Body from Chemtrails, GMOS, Flouridated Water, and other Environmental Toxins
Stating "Our Blood and Bones Contain Over 85,000 Different Toxins" thankfully there are inexpensive ways to cleanse the bowels, hair, skin, lungs, liver, kidneys, and even the cells. How can you detox your body? I picked some of my favorites from this article.
Here are some personal things I've done over the years. It has now been over a year since I've used nail polish (although I just discovered vegan nailpolish and hope to try it), years since I bought non-vegan make-up and most days I don't wear any, 4 years since I've colored my hair, years since I've bought conventional face wash (we use baking soda and it works wonders!), bought scented lotions - we use coconut oil or other oils, wear perfume - I use essential oils. I even stopped buying tampax once I realized the toxins within and started to use the Diva Cup. We dry our clothes outside but if you don't and use dryer sheets consider a brand with out animal-fat, like this one! I'm sure I have areas to improve but as I learn about the toxins being poured into us I do my best to make mindful decisions moving forward. We enjoyed a hike out in nature the other day. The flowers and trees provided purified air, it helped us get in touch with the Creator of All, provided an easy way to meditate, and we worked up a good sweat clearing our body and mind of toxins! We followed up with a foot soak with hot/warm water, salts, herbs and essential oils. Epsom salts are great. We put everything in a bucket with a towel underneath and let our feet soak. It is an easy way to pull toxins from your body in a short amount of time. Soaking can ease stress, reduce inflammation, flush toxins, boost magnesium intake and are helpful when congested / during illness. So soak up! I hope you enjoy the Zen Chakra Salad as much as we did! No oils, salts, gluten or dairy! Yay! Positive Vibes! Christa xo Asian Fusion

Happy Monday! I hope you all had a happy, healthy and fun holiday weekend! What did you do? We did projects around the home, shared some of our amazing structural integration with one another, ate some good food, read some good books, did some yoga and watched one crappy movie haha. It can be hard to get back into the swing of things and sometimes you just want to make a simple dinner. I have just the solution for tonight! It will take minimal effort and hopefully hit the spot. Grab some rice and place it in your rice cooker, add homemade beans, or canned. Top with homemade guacamole and surround by chips. Sprinkle some red pepper flakes on top and wallah! Dinner is done. I love a bowl filled with healthy, delicious ingredients and chips to dip them out with! Yummy! Ingredients:

Meatless Monday: Potato Cakes!

When I was a kid, my specialty in the kitchen was hash browns. I absolutely loved to make them on the weekends, cover them in Lawry's seasoning salt and wait for them to get crispy brown. Through the years, I still love potatoes and especially hash browns as a treat. This meal takes them to the next level. It's equivalent to Pommes Anna, a classic French dish of sliced and layered potatoes smothered in an extreme amount of melted butter. Take out the cream, butter and fat and you are left with a healthier alternative and a true vegan treat. This potato cake is easy to make, layer slices of potato with a savory vegan "cheese" blend of nutritional yeast, salt and pepper and place in the oven. About an hour later you are left with a savory treat! I hope you enjoy a meatless meal this Monday, if inclined, give this one a try! Ingredients:

Trying a vegan meal once a week (or more) is a great way to introduce more fruits and vegetables into your diet. See how it makes you feel and if you are inclined, try it more frequently!
To your continued health! Christa One of my all-time favorite treats from the market is Tofurkey Italian Sausage. These sausages are so flavorful and absolutely delicious. We love to fry them up with some onions and garlic and add it to our favorite tortellini with a homemade sauce, it’s one of our favorites. The only part that bothered me was that they contained gluten (wheat) and an abundance of soy. I've been trying to cut back on the amount of soy we take in as a protein source. It can be hard at first as most of the alternative products contain soy. The less soy and gluten we eat, the better we feel. I found a recipe online a while ago while searching for the ultimate alternative to the Tofurkey Italian Sausage. Each time I performed my search I’d end up on the very same recipe from The V Word – check it out here. A big thank you to Rhea the creative genius who invented this wonderful recipe! The pictures look so tantalizing, it couldn’t be homemade, vegan, soy-free and gluten-free..could it? Yes! It is! I bookmarked the page, bought black eyed peas and placed them away in the cupboard. Months later, I boiled them and remembered this recipe. I couldn’t help but instantly prepare them with eager anticipation. A chance to make my husband his very favorite vegan meal? I’m in! With some music in the background, I pulled up my sleeves and gave the recipe a try. Mashing the black eyed peas beneath my hands combining the ingredients with love. Forming the beautiful sausages, wrapping and then steaming them for future consumption. I’m honored to share this sensational recipe with you for you to try at home and share with your loved ones. Bon Apatite! Enjoy!

I hope you enjoy this recipe! With love, Christa This meal is like having salsa in a skillet with lime infused asparagus on top of a bed of rice. The flavor is sensational, the meal is satisfying and it leaves your body feeling invigorated from all the spices and vitamin C! Take some some rice and place it in the rice cooker and press go! What a great invention, I love our rice cooker! Then take some nopales cactus, 1/2 of a white onion, 4 serrano peppers, 2 tomatoes, a handful of fresh cilantro, 4 cloves of garlic, 1/2 can of black olives, 1 lime and saute them together in a wok. Seasoned with cumin, salt, pepper, garlic powder and red pepper flakes. Meanwhile, saute the asparagus in olive oil, the juice of 1 lime, salt and pepper. Cook until heated throughout. Place a bed of rice in a bowl, top with the Summer Veggie mixture and surround with Asparagus. Mama mia! Ingredients:
