These Buddha Bowls come together easily, are simple, nutritious and beautiful. A creamy avocado, energy boosting green dressing, "meaty lentils" and fluffy quinoa. Delicious! The nutrition profile is quite impressive. With iron, protein, zinc, magnesium, potassium, fiber, vitamins like B6, copper and more all from the lentils. The dressing itself has anti-inflammatory properties and immune boosting qualities. The quinoa adds more protein, all of our amino acid needs, has flavanoids, high in fiber, also has iron, magnesium, zinc and antioxidants. This nutrient rich meal will leave your body smiling. Enjoy!

What do you get when you combine miso, sauerkraut, lime, cilantro and ginger? A powerhouse of healthy ingredients all in one place disguised as a beautiful green sauce that is jam packed with flavor. I love trying new sauces for salads, on top of grains, on my Buddha bowls, on tofu, as a marinade you name it. I hope you love this new bright and colorful recipe to boost your system.

I adore smoothies and protein shakes, they are delicious, filling and full of what your body needs. I mix and match with this and that adding what I think we need that day. I have a broad arrangement of super-foods and seeds, use what you like best and what you have on hand. This is one of many! If you want me to share more of these let me know. Enjoy!
We wanted something to go with our protein shake the other morning and I whipped up these delightful banana muffins. I said "wowww" when I broke into them, so moist, fluffy and they taste fantastic. I love a good muffin, don't you?
I don't know what is more heavenly than a piece of cheesecake. A perfect crust adorned with the most amazing cheesecake and strawberry swirls, baked, refrigerated and then sliced. Yum! Get the recipe below.

Today I had the honor of going on the Jazzy Vegetarian's Radio Show. We discussed "Releasing Stress During These Uncertain Times" as many of us are going through a lot of disturbances and changes in our lives. In the first half we discuss compassion, how to keep your pantry stocked, recipes and in the second half we go into affirmations, yoga, stress releasing activities, following your passion and even a meditation. It's a diverse show that was a lot of fun! I hope you give it a listen and enjoy it! May you be healthy, happy and safe. With love, Christa
Pizza! I adore pizza. It's one of my favorite comfort foods. It is satisfying, filling, comforting and takes you back. This variety has vegan cheese in the crust, a tomato sauce topped with more vegan cheese, TVP crumbles, grilled zucchini and onion and extra vegan cheese to be safe. It's loaded! When you take a bite it tastes amazing. The flavor is fantastic. Get the recipe below. Enjoy! As my mother-in-law says "take good care of yourself, ya here" take good care during these times and each day. My love, Christa
We recently made a stuffed crust pizza and featured this cheese. We needed some comfort food and I bet you do too! I didn't feature it (yet) but you can actually refrigerate this and it firms up into a soft slice. What? I know. How cool! It is also great for sandwiches, pizza toppings, lasagna, vegan eggs, anywhere you want some vegan cheese. I hope you are all doing okay during your stay at home in this challenging time we're all going through. Let me know if you have any requests for support or recipes you may need. Now, onto that cheeeeeeeese.
A thick luscious creamy white sauce can be yours without the guilt. This recipe is made from wholesome ingredients that are good for your body and Mother Earth. Healthy, satisfying and lip-smacking good. I love how few ingredients are needed, how quickly it comes together and how much everyone loves it.
âShakti's Split Pea Soup is a tasty way to boost your immunity. Eating healthy plant-based foods is a great way to heal yourself and the planet. This soup is loaded with protein, a great source of zinc, iron and phosphorus, it is also anti-inflammatory.
